Cynthia Smuda, Principal
Cynthia Smuda is admitted to practice in the State of Missouri and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.
She has been in private practice throughout her legal career. Her practice concentrates on family law, probate matters (including wills and trusts), workers compensation, DWI, criminal and traffic matters.
Ms. Smuda received her Bachelor of Science degree from St. Louis University. She is a member of Alpha Sigma Nu (Jesuit Honor Society). She earned her Juris Doctor from St. Louis University School of Law, St. Louis, Missouri.
Much of her work focuses on the needs of families and children. Ms. Smuda listens carefully to the wants and needs of her clients. As a skilled family law attorney, she keeps her clients informed of the law and their rights. She works to practically resolve their matters in accordance with the law.
Ms. Smuda has been a member of the Missouri Bar’s Family Law Committee since 1997. She reviewed the "The Family Support Division" chapter of the Missouri Bar’s Family Law, 6th Ed. She has been a member of the Family Law Section of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis since 1995 and served as its Secretary in 2005-2007.
Ms. Smuda participates in Operation Standby through the American Bar Association and assists military families with their family law needs. As a result, she has assisted clients from all over the world.
Ms. Smuda served as a Member of the Board of Directors for La Clinica.
